ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

I fell in love with the game of golf at a young age. I remember tagging along to the golf course with my dad and older siblings when I was about 5 years old. I started out only putting on the greens. I would practice my full swings on the 3 hole golf course I had in my back yard. (by “3 hole golf course” I mean a piece of rebar stuck into the ground in three different places). By the age of 7 I played in my first tournament! I was hooked! Golf was a way for me to spend time with my dad and older brother while also being outside at the same time.

Golf even found a way to inspire me to do well in school too. If I brought home my report card with straight A’s I would get a season pass for the next year. I have now been working in the golf industry for about 10 years and Teaching golf for 5 years.

I have worked at a variety of private clubs:
  • Isleworth, Windermere Florida
  • Whisper Rock, Scottsdale Arizona
  • Huntsman Springs, Driggs Idaho

I have been fortunate to be around many good players and multiple PGA tour players. I have been able to witness how they practice, how they play on the course and how they prepare both mentally and physically to build the most efficient golf swing. I have also been able to witness their instructors teaching them and listen to their processes. I have passed certification classes from Mike Wilson Golf and have adapted many of his teaching ideas.

Mike Wilson was a top 100 teaching pro on golf digest and has taught many skilled players. His most notable is Masters champion Mike Weir. I genuinely enjoy teaching the golf swing and helping my clients learn how to get their golf games in shape. I took hundreds of golf lessons growing up so I’ve seen a variety of techniques that work and many that don’t.

I understand that everyone’s body is different and I work with each student to build the most efficient golf swing that is unique to them and their abilities.
